last night i dreamt i lived in a sorority house with katie brown, emily kastner, and my old friend soo. i was descending the staircase thinking of how they were all from different school eras in my life, except elementary, when i encountered 3th grade classmate jennifer quan, who was manning a hallway bake sale. we discussed pistachio flavoring and i was struck by a terrible sense of foreboding, as if death itself had taken pity on me and offered me one of those cherry drop cookies.
