trouble sleeping

tremblements de coeur et de terre

i had strange dreams where tracy and i traversed mud hollows and peninsulas wearing thigh-high doc martens, running to get to this venue that had very well dressed indie chicks who all kissed me on the cheek. while shopping for these pink and orange ruffly converse in a strange surfwear type shop, i was alone in the huge dressing room when some kind of catastrophe hit and i was hurled to the floor, wearing one shoe, and i woke up thinking about the svelte song. about one shoe, that is.

and now i recall this other dream i had about a dressing room, where my mother and grandmother and i took me shopping for something tanktop-y at a wetseal type store, and there was a ghost in the dressing room beside me. she asked me to hand her some of her clothes because she'd left them in my room and i was gathering them and suddenly this HAND appeared through my wall... it was frightening. i fled that room like you wouldn't believe and started sobbing outside. my grandma gave me this horrified look that looked like she was saying i was cursed, but couldn't speak. i told this dream to somebody and they said it was a sign not to shop so much anymore, but i didn't take it quite so superficially. my mother says that when you have ghosts in your dreams, it's important. she's dreamt of people dying a couple of times in her life and they've all come true. it's only about three people, actually, but all three times she's woken up after her eerie dream and found out that the person really did die. my mom has some kind of psychic korean power, seriously.
